We are looking for an experienced Promotions Manager to fill an exciting leadership role based in Wollongong.

Reporting to the Group Integration and Marketing Manager of WIN Radio, the Promotions Manager will work closely with all areas of the business including sales, production, programming and talent to create and deliver compelling campaigns that our clients and listeners alike love.

You’ll be ambitious, an expert negotiator, thrive in a fast paced environment and display creative flair while also keeping business objectives in mind. Management experience is a must as you’ll be leading a small team of passionate and hardworking professionals who work collaboratively to deliver integrated results both on and off the air.   

You’ll be required to:

Create and implement entertaining and flawless station and client promotional activities on-air, on the ground, on-line and on social media.

Work side by side with our sales and programming teams to deliver client solutions that reflect both the client and i98’s brand.

Manage i98FM’s community partnerships, as well as actively secure and maintain strategic partnerships for the business. 

Selection Criteria

  • At least 4-5 years’ experience working in media (radio promotions experience will be highly regarded).
  • Experience working in a leadership role where you were responsible for ensuring the success of outcomes, and leading a small team.
  • The ability to deliver results via outstanding project management skills where you set and exceed goals in relation to the co-ordination and administration of all on and off air promotional activities.
  • A collaborative and professional communication style with the ability to quickly problem solve.
  • Experience using CMS systems and a solid understanding of digital marketing tactics as well as social media platforms.
  • Excellent time management skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Incredible written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to always be looking one step ahead and anticipate problems, plus keep on the front foot when it comes to what’s happening in the media and pop culture.
  • A natural leader who can work calmly, display good ethics and inspire others.
  • Experience using the Audata and Canva platforms.
  • Experience preparing and presenting client promotional proposals and running brainstorming sessions.
  • Understanding of the media landscape and previous experience working closely with sales teams.
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, media or communications is highly regarded.
  •  A sense of humor, strong work ethic and willingness to get your hands dirty is a MUST!
