The Illawarra’s number one radio station, i98FM is looking for a Casual Radio Announcer to join our talented team. Here’s more about what we’re looking for:

Reporting to the Content Director, you will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of a daily shift at i98FM when required.

The successful person will be expected to:

• Demonstrate a high level of awareness of popular culture, social media and current affairs which will allow you to devise and drive the development and implementation of unique and compelling show features and promotions.
• As an Announcer you will have a distinctive on-air presence that will appeal to i98FM listeners.
• You will be required to devise and drive the development and implementation of unique and compelling show features and promotions.
• Demonstrate self-management and the ability to change and grow so as to remain popular, relevant and compelling to the audience.
• On air experience for live radio show.
• Have a sound understanding of Commercial Radio Australia's Codes of Practice and Broadcasting Standards.
• Possess excellent time management skills and experience working to deadlines.
• Have experience in building strong relationships with a diverse customer base.
