About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible person to join our local Sales team in a support role. This is a full-time position based at our office in Ballarat.

As the Advertising Sales Assistant, you will provide high-quality administrative support to the Sales team, including processing and managing the placement of media bookings, generating reports and completing other associated administrative tasks.

You will also respond to client requests and act as the first point of contact for viewer enquiries. You will need to respond to calls and requests, predominantly via email and telephone, in a professional and friendly manner.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous administration experience, preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
• The ability to fulfil reception and administrative duties for the Sales department.
• A high level of accuracy, with excellent attention to detail and data entry skills.
• Effective time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute positively to strong working relationships.
• A positive work ethic and the ability and willingness to learn new systems.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• An excellent phone manner, with the ability to professionally manage incoming complaints and enquiries.
