We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Professional to kick start or re-invigorate their career in media.

As a Sales Executive you’re a natural hunter who uncovers new business and protects and services existing. Reporting to the Sales Manager, working in a dynamic team of sales professionals, the primary focus of the Sales Executive is to maximise revenue through selling of advertising airtime in the Illawarra/South Coast market. You will have the ability to build and own a prosperous patch selling a market leading product. Sales Skills:

  • Minimum of two years sales representative or account management experience.
  • Experience in building strong relationships with a diverse customer base.
  • Proven record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.


  • Ability to operate in a team environment, contributing positively to the operations and working relationships.
  • Ability to contribute ideas and demonstrate initiative and flexibility.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
  • Demonstrated positive work ethic and the ability and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to take steps to solve a problem.
  • A Tenacious hunter for new business in market and building a pipeline.
  • A love of media.
  • A drive to help businesses grow through strategic advertising.
  • Ability to entertain clients and harness strong relationships and reputation.


  • MS Office proficiency.
  • Hold unrestricted drivers’ licence and suitable vehicle for the role.
  • This role has balanced administrative responsibilities: booking proposals, post time and audience data therefore an ability to manage both selling and back-end are crucial.
  • Hold the right to work in Australia.
  • Media knowledge is highly desirable.
