About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Promotions Coordinator to support the Promotions Manager in creating and activating innovative promotional campaigns and supporting the achievement of the station’s programming, sales and marketing objectives. 

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, set up, activation and post-campaign reporting of on-air, digital, and street level station promotions.
  • Ensuring all promotional campaigns are delivered accurately, on brand, on time and in budget.
  • Prize sourcing and fulfillment including winner’s coordination and communication.
  • Work collaboratively with the graphics, production and creative departments to develop relevant campaign elements. 
  • Maintain a detailed promotional calendar.
  • Regularly meet with the team to discuss opportunities, ideas, and communicate upcoming campaign logistics.
  • Assist with writing and valuing proactive proposals.
  • Coordinate partnerships with community organisers and charities.
  • Copy writing for on-air features and website.
  • Assist with managing social media helping to drive audience participation and keep listeners informed.
  • Keeping the station website and content fresh. 
  • Handling incoming station inquiries in person, phone, email and socials. 
  • Attend and assist at station events.
  • Work collaboratively with the Events Coordinator to ensure all requirements are being met across the department.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Promotions Manager.

About you:
The successful applicant will:

  • Experience in promotions, marketing, or events in a professional setting
  • Project Management skills with a high level of organisational ability and excellent time management
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Content Management Systems, and social media platforms (particularly Meta)
  • Creative flair and industry passion
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Communications or similar desirable, but not essential.
